Last night the best of the best hit the carpet at the CFDA. Celebrities like Rihanna who was honored as Fashion Icon and Bethann Hardison who was honored an won an award , Mary Kate and Ashley Olson, Chanel Iman, Blake Lively, Rachel Roy, Rachel Zoe, Anna Wintour, Lupita Nyong'o and Solange Knowles just name a few. I think everyone knows Rihanna slayed us in her sheer dress, she absolutely killed it! If you pay attention these celebrities are a season ahead of the game in fall pieces which I love "KUDOS TO THEIR STYLIST" Rihanna reminded me of Josephine Baker in her look that she rocked last night.

  Rihanna wore this dress and the dress didn't wear her, she looked amazing in this Adam Selman dress which she accessorized with a fur scarf. Her look was completed with a shimmer head scarf and a pair of gloves, which were embellished with over 216,000 Swarovski crystals. She definatly has the body and the personality to wear a piece like this, I think she looked beautiful.

CoCo Rocha Super Model and Fashion Icon I love this black and white mermaid gown and to finish and she finished her look with a black hat, that did for me! I'm definatly a hat girl.

Irene Neuwirth Jewelry Designer and Actress Busy Phillips I love how these ladies wore bright pops of color. I call this look casual chic. Both the skirt and dress can be worn as a more casual look for day time and a evening looks as well, depending on the accessories you choose. Making it your own look like these ladies did is the key to make any trend look like your own style.

Rachel Zoe Fashion Stylist to the stars looked fabulous as always in this one shoulder dress with a shinny clutch.

Super Model and Fashion Mogul Iman looked gorgeous in her shades of blue, finished with a tribal gold necklace.

Solange Knowles is back to the natural look which looks 10 times better on her than short hair. She wore a Custom made Calvin Klein Collection dress.

Lupita Nyong'o always looks very well put together. I think she looked very sophisticated in this printed cropped set, and the orange pointed toe pump makes the outfit pop even more.

Rachel Roy Fashion Designer wore a floral dress with a high slit and strappy sandals. To make her dress pop she finished her look with a black blazer and black clutch. I think she could have done without the blazer, sometimes less is more but none the less she still looked pretty.

Diane Von Ferstenberg work a yellow sheath dress with a black graphic floral print design, finished with a few simple accessories.

Chanel Iman looked very elegant in the low cut beaded black gown.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olson always slay us. I love their hippie style, these girls always dress to kill in a modern mature way.

Jennifer Hudson in black from head to toe with a mini slit in her one shoulder gown. She had no accessories, but sometimes less is more.

Bridgit Moynahan looked absolutely fantastic in this purple strapless gown. This color is gorgeous on her skin tone, its a classic piece that's well deserved to wear for this event.
