5 Essential pieces you should have in your wardrobe.

1.) A LBD- "Little Black Dress". This piece can go a long way in any woman wardrobe, a few reasons why is because you can wear it to work, any special occasion function or church. If you don't have a LBD grab one ASAP.

2.) Having a Blazer in your wardrobe is a must, always start with a basic black one that fits you to a T and then work your way up to buying new colors. A blazer can be worn over a dress, with jeans, a skirt and if you like to get a little trendy and funky like I do wear it with shorts or a pair of skinny sweat pants.

3.) Skinny or straight leg jeans, no matter what size or height every woman needs a pair. The thing I love about skinny jeans is that they make you look taller. No matter your shape, if you are pear shaped or coke bottled shaped always wear your skinny jeans with a top that hits you at the hip if you're more curvy than others. Woman with flatter tummy's have the advantage to go outside the box a little but its ok do what works for you.

4.) Black Pumps are a must have in you closet as well, whether it be a round toe, pointed toe or almond shaped please go get a pair! 3 inches is the standard height of heel that you need and for ladies who can't walk in higher heels make sure your pumps have a platform, that way it levels you out and you're not tipping over as you walk.

5.) Last but not least, undergarments! Ladies ladies I can't express this enough to you, woman must aways have on the proper undergarments so that the outfit you're wearing looks clean and finished. Especially wearing dresses and skirts. No matter if you're a size 2 or 20 the proper undergarments will give you a smoother look. I like to buy SPANX to wear under my dresses, Spanx makes all type of pieces to wear under different attire. You can also try Victoria Secret and department stores like Macy's, Saks, Nordstrom and Dillards.
