Allure Evolution: Get On Up Staring Chadwick Boseman

The Hardest Working Man In Show Business...

Over the weekend I saw the movie " Get On Up" and I must say this is one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time. Actor Chadwick Boseman played the roll of the Hardest Working Man in Show Business, Mr. James Brown and he played the hell out of this roll! I usually wont go to the movies to see a performance twice unless it's worth paying for, but this movie is worth paying for over and over again.

I never knew that James Brown went through the things he went through as a child, like being abused and abandoned by his parents. The trials and tribulations he went through as a child made him the man he was and only having a 7th grade education, James Brown had a gift inside of him the was placed there by God. I always say no matter the amount of education you have or experience, if you have a gift, you have a gift and nothing can stop it.

There were many lessons to be learned in this movie. One lesson that stood out to me was follow your heart and the dreams that God has put inside of you and if you're passionate about something then make it work for you the best way you can. Mr. Brown, as they called him was a musical genius and people respected him and still do till this day, now that's called being legendary despite of all the negative things people had to say about him in his later years, and I say to that" WHO CARES!" You never know what a person has gone through in their past and or present so don't be so quick to judge.

The Movie also included musical stars like Aloe Blacc and Black Thought from the group The Roots. Theses guys did and amazing job playing their rolls as band members of Mr. Brow's musical group The Fampous Flames. Chadwick Boseman deserves an Oscar 5 times for this roll,Such words are likely comforting for Boseman, who, after portraying baseball icon Jackie Robinson in 2013's "42," was hesitant to take on another biopic, let alone one for a man as seminal as James Brown.

Chadwick stated on the "Today" show " When I first saw the script, I was like I'm not even going to open it up and read it. There's no way I'm playing James Brown."also adding that he knew what it would take to portray the Hardest Working Man in Show Business.

Chadwick did an amazing job, and I hope to see him in more films soon.
