Chosen By The Queen Herself...

Stated in ELLE Magazine, Beyoncé declares that the music industry is dominated by men and the labels are out to make carbon copies of whoever is successful at the moment and she's over! Her solution to the problem is to put matters into her own hands and produce new female talent on her brand new label "Parkwood Entertainment." Mrs. Carter has 3 new acts on the label all chosen by her.

The First group I'll present to you is...

CHLOE X HALLE

Beyoncé calls these ladies her "Acustic Alliens." In 2013 the Youtube duo posted a soaring a cappella version of Beyoncé's "Pretty Hurts and the video went viral, the next thing you know these ladies received an email from Parkwood asking if they were signed. With nearly 65,000 followers and 11 million views the ladies are now writing original tracks where their voices unite in harmony.

Singer/ Rapper, Ingrid grew up one street over from Beyoncé in the Houston suburbs with mother's as friends, so just to let you know the two have a very personal relationship which is super cool in my opinion. Ingrid is an artist who is free in her expression when it comes to her music. She's expressing herself by speaking freely in her lyrics on how a woman should demand-power, respect and of course sex. Man I've been saying this same thing for a long time! LOL.

SOPHIE BEEM

The 16 year old ambitious Sophie Beem, self taught, pianist, guitarist,and vocalist took her career of singing and songwriting skills to the next level from her cushy Upper East side bedroom in New York to the downtown city streets where in 2013 she was discovered at landmark rock club The Bitter End by Parkwood's former general manager, Lee Anne Callahan. Her sound is in the genre of Rihana and Kesha with a voice of rich R&B texture. Videos and photos of her were hand delivered to Beyoncé on tour, and a week later and she got a phone call that they wanted to sign her as their first artist! Now Beem is doing whatever she can so that people can hear her music.
