Mix it up...

This season master the art of layering with pieces that you already have in your wardrobe. Instead of buying that big bulky coat, layer different pieces and mix it up a little.

For example:

Chunky sweaters
Ponte knit pants and dresses
Sweat shirts
Button down shirts
Sweaters
Denim

One of my all time favorites is dresses or skirts with jeans. This trend gives you any edgy outside the box look. I guarantee heads will turn.

I always suggest searching for the perfect little black dress that has volume. That way this gives the illusion that the dress is not as short as it may seems.

There are many eyes on Riccardo who oversees Givenchy's accessories, men's and woman's ready-to wear lines and haute couture. When a designers name gets recognized on music verses I think it's something that needs to be checked out. Rappers like 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Kanye West have dropped Riccardo Tisci's name in a few verses.

He has also befriended Ms. Erykah Badu, one of my favorite soul singers in the music business. They are featured together in Paper Mag on a subway and on the streets of New York.

I've got to say "I'm definitely loving the purple locs." I guess since the break up with Wiz Khalifa and the lovely Amber Rose, maybe he figured he needed a new start with something fresh and he decided to express himself by changing his hair color. I love the new look Wiz, only you can pill this one off.

Nicki Minaj Suits Up For L 'Uomo

Suited and Booted With Sophistication...

Nicki Minaj gives us a more masculine look with her photo shoot for L 'Uomo Vouge. The black and whit photos display Nicki rocking a fierce chopped Bob and a Mens Wear suit that gives is a little display of what's underneath.

Her new approach on fashion has been eye catching and classy. I will most definitely keep an eye out for more updated fashion looks from Nicki.

Tracee Ellis Ross

Always Modern...

Tracee Ellis Ross has always been one of my inspirations when it comes to celebrity style. Today on the Wendy Williams show she rocked gold door knocker earings with her name in the middle of the hoop, a black and white Raoul dress and red Kurt Geiger heels. I love the concept of always having a pop of color that adds flavor to any look.

It's so liberating to see her in fresh modern looks when she makes an appearance. Oh and let's not forget her natural curls that always make a statement. 

Tracee also stars on the new sitcom Blackish on ABC with co-stars Anthony Anderson and Lawrence Fishburne.
