AURORA JAMES For The Coveteur

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, BROTHER VELLIES:

Effortlessly Sustainable...

Hey guys I'm back today after taking care of some personal things yesterday. So today I want to hip you on to this chick I saw on  the The Coveteur - she's Aurora James a Brooklyn Hipster who resides in Clinton Hill. Photographer Renée Rodenkirchen took a few photos of the hipsters eclectic space and wardrobe pieces. In some of the photos she has garments hanging from a real tree branch installed in her bedroom, I think that's the shit!

Just to bring you up on Ms. James, she has a accessories label called  Brother Vellies. If you're into more eclectic and things made with passion then you'll definitely lover her line of shoes and bags for woman. Also men and children's foot wear. Everyone from Kanye West to Anna Wintour) rep this brand, but it's also ethically produced in Africa, where they’re handcrafted using traditional techniques by local artisans in South Africa, Kenya, Morocco and Ethiopia. ( Cool right)? James has also been featured in Vogue, FN Magazine and Style.com.

Legendary Musician and Artist, Prince, Dies at 57

The Legend...

At first when I logged onto social media today I thought it was a hoax, but unfortunately it's not. The Legendary musician, Prince has passed away at the age of 57. I know that everyone's hearts are heavy with the sad news about the singer, song writer, and producer. He has left us with many memories and songs like Purple Rain, and When Doves Cry etc. I know that we all will miss his unique style of dress as well. Prince set the tone in the 80's and beyond to be confident in anything that you wear male or female. Boldly wearing ruffles, sequins, and elaborate jackets, topped off by a curly coif.

R.I.P Prince

God has better plans for you💛
